DFS Group has opened a new boutique within the men’s concept at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams. Designed to look like a private library in an upscale club, Timepieces & Whiskies is set to be your favourite shop in Macau. Within its tasteful walls is a curated collection of superb whiskies and watches, including brands such as IWC Schaffhausen, Zenith, and The Macallan.
“With Timepieces & Whiskies, we bring the classic hospitality tradition into the retail shopping experience. Whether a whisky lover or simply curious to learn more about the spirit, today’s shopper wants to explore and be taken on a tasting journey,” says DFS Group’s Senior Vice President Spirits, Wines, Tobacco, Food and Gifts, Brooke Supernaw. “By offering a personalised, tailored tasting experience within the comfort of this gentlemen’s-style lounge, our guests will immediately feel at home as our staff help them discover something new with DFS.”
Indeed, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting to explore these treasures. Guests can indulge in a single malt at the bar, or try on a classic watch by the fireplace, or even just have a game of table football. Stocked with an edit of 30 whisky brands, the bar at Timepieces & Whiskies offers daily guided tastings. The core of the collection focuses on exclusive or limited edition products, such as Araid Rare Cask Reserve (available only with DFS in Macau) and Glenmorangie Legends Collection (a travel shopping exclusive).
As for watches, there are pieces from iconic watchmakers alongside niche brands such as NOMOS Glashütte and Romain Jerome, available only at T Galleria in Macau.
“Building your watch collection is intensely personal,” says DFS Group’s Senior Vice President Fashion, Watches, Jewelry and Accessories, Christophe Chaix. “Timepieces & Whiskies allows collectors not only to explore some of our watch buyers’ favourite pieces of the moment, but to engage in a dialogue on the latest trends, niche brands and how to round out your collection. We look forward to building a community of enthusiasts and indulging them in the best of the watch world right [here] in Macau.”
