Smell good for spring: Dolce&Gabbana offers a Mediterranean escape

Had enough of the cold, wintry days? Fear not. The latest addition to Dolce&Gabbana’s Velvet Collection will transport you to the Mediterranean’s warmer climes.

Velvet Cypress brings one of the Mediterranean landscape’s most iconic features, the Italian Cypress, into a fresh, woody citrus scent.

The signature cypress note is complemented by rich natural extracts of bergamot and lemon, drawn from Italian groves, fields and herb gardens. The evocative aroma of the cypress leaf is unveiled through an herbaceous green, cut-stem effect combined to whiffs of sap, bark and earth with a resinous galbanum.

As the fragrance unfolds, the cypress expresses its aromatic facets, highlighted by two qualities of a quintessentially masculine note. Enriched clary sage, a rare ingredient enhanced through a natural process, showcases the fruitier side of the fragrant herb. Clary sage absolute hints at the hay and dry grass of a late-summer countryside. Finally, a touch of Virginian cedar seals the scent.

Spritz yourself silly from 1 March when the scent becomes available in airports.
