Lacoste dances a duel with dual launch of fragrances

lacoste-l1212-magnetic_visual

The idea behind Eau de Lacoste L. 12. 12 Magnetic Pour Elle and Magnetic Pour Lui is the ‘spirited connection between two duellists’. It is also the magnetic force of attraction: The dance that happens between two people in the first heady stages of a relationship.

The fragrances take classic notes from the Eau de Lacoste L. 12. 12 range, adding new facets to create depth. Notes of patchouli and violet provide a common connection between Elle and Lui before the fragrances develop along feminine and masculine lines.

Magnetic Pour Elle contains the wonderfully named new note: pretty lady flower. Said to evoke tropical fruits, it blends with jasmine and vanilla to create a sweet, feminine fragrance.

Magnetic Pour Lui on the other hand contains exhilarating green mountain juniper and sensual amber to conjure up a fresh masculine fragrance.

The campaign portrays a couple engaged in a playful duel and also features some classic Lacoste fashion: the male model wears an iconic white L. 12. 12 Lacoste polo shirt while the female is sporting a Lacoste pleated tennis skirt.

Eau de Lacoste L. 12. 12 Magnetic Pour Elle will be available in 25ml (€35), 45ml (€47), 80ml (€64) and Eau de Lacoste L. 12. 12 Magnetic Pour Lui in 50ml (€44), 100ml (€60) and 175ml (€72).
