Moncler makes Hamad International Airport a permanent fixture

Just when we thought Qatar Duty Free’s luxury shopping offer couldn’t get any better, clothing and accessories brand Moncler pops up with its first permanent airport store in the Middle East.

Following a successful pop-up store last year, the French-Italian brand has decided it’s time to open a permanent boutique at Hamad International Airport in Qatar. And what a place to do so. Moncler joins Qatar Duty Free’s strong line-up of over 70 premium boutiques, including Bally, Burberry, Coach, Hermès, Hugo Boss, Rolex, Bulgari and Harrods.

Offering the latest men’s and women’s collections along with a range of accessories, the boutique has a certain alpine feel to it. French Chêne Fumeé wood panelling is set against grey marbled ceilings and walls with white Calcatta marble display cases.

With such an impressive luxury shopping offer to peruse, I’d recommend putting aside plenty of time (and money!) before jetting off from the Qatar airport hub.
