There are few better ways to celebrate a birthday than with a combo of cosmetics and cake. To mark five years of T Galleria Beauty at Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay, luxury travel retailer DFS has opened the Lips Café. Head to Hysan Place Level 1 between 10am and 10pm to enjoy make-up themed treats during August.
Thanks to the expertise of Habitu, a popular artisan café based in Hong Kong, the menu will feature rings of cake. The tempting flavours include: Pink Parisian Rose, Purple Taro, Nude Latte with Pistachio and Red Strawberry. Or if you prefer something crunchy there are lip-shaped cookie-pops (HK$28/piece) or First Class Beauty cookie bags (HK$36/5 pieces).
But it is August, so if you’re feeling too hot for cake, don’t fret. Sample a delicious ice-pop (or two, we won’t tell) available in: Mango-Orange, Strawberry and Cream, Caffè Rosa and Watermelon Roselle flavours. Wash it all down with a Cute Kiss Rose Almond Milk Shake, Rouge Kiss Beetroot Cucumber Habiccino or Candy Kiss Roselle Habiccino Iced Tea.
And if that’s got your artistic juices flowing, between 3pm and 7pm on weekends, the Lips Café is hosting complimentary cookie decorating workshops with the founder of Sugar Me Kissery.
There are plenty of opportunities to win some great prizes and enjoy some bonus rewards too.
Spend more than HK$1,200 at the weekend at T Galleria Beauty and receive a lip shaped cookie-pop, whilst spending over HK$1,800 will allow you to play the First Class Beauty instant-win digital game. The main prize is a pair of business class air tickets to Okinawa (yes, please). The runner-up prizes include, deluxe beauty hampers valued at HK$5,000, fashion accessories and cash vouchers. Personalize your own T Galleria Beauty fifth anniversary tote bag with iron-on patches, if you spend HK$3,000.
Right, we’re off for our sugar fix…
