Shiseido star turn: Ultimune and the ultimate beauty specialist

The T Galleria Beauty by DFS in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong was recently the scene of an exclusive worldwide beauty launch. Luxury travel retailer DFS and Shiseido partnered to unveil an exclusive set of Shiseido best-sellers: Ultimune and White Lucent.

The Ultimune and White Lucent Power Bright Set contains Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate (50ml); White Lucent Luminizing Infuser (150ml); and White Lucent Multi Bright Night Cream (50ml). Priced at HK$1,570 (US$202), this represents a -15% saving compared to individual purchase prices.

The exclusive set will be available from T Galleria and DFS locations in Auckland, Bali, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Macau, San Francisco, Singapore and Sydney.

Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate works to enhance the skin’s defences against signs of ageing, stress and environmental aggressors. White Lucent Luminizing Infuser and White Lucent Multi Bright Night Cream have been formulated to tackle skin discolouration including spots, dullness and irregular skin tone. Described as ‘amazing’ on their own and ‘more powerful together’ the exclusive set offers a comprehensive kit to brighten and protect the complexion.

At the launch, Shiseido’s Top Beauty Specialist Mika Kadoya made a special appearance, talking to consumers about Japanese beauty skincare rituals, key make-up trends and how the Ultimune and White Lucent products can help achieve glowing and luminous skin.

Selected from over 11,000 beauty consultants in Japan, Mika Kadoya was educated at the prestigious Shiseido Beauty Academy for three years and graduated top of her class to become a Top Specialist. Since qualifying, Ms Kadoya has won international competitions and is certified by a number of bodies including the fabulous sounding Japan Manners & Protocol Association.

To mark the Ultimune and White Lucent launch, Shiseido has a number of interactive events planned for travellers. Until 28 February, Shiseido will offer beauty lessons via an interactive digital photo booth at T Galleria Beauty by DFS, Causeway Bay; T Galleria by DFS, Hawaii and DFS, Hong Kong International Airport. The digital booth allows visitors to personalise and share their own digital origami butterfly and print out a version of their design to keep complete with Shiseido beauty tips.

Throughout February, customers who buy HK$1,200 (US$155) of Shiseido products at DFS locations worldwide can claim a special gift-with-purchase including an exclusive pouch containing Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate (10ml).

DFS LOYAL T members can also take up additional gifts-with-purchase and exclusive beauty lessons from top Shiseido beauty specialists in Hong Kong and Hawaii.
