NARS upgrades travellers with exclusive NARSissist #Jetsetter sets

When it comes to make-up, especially for Millennials, it’s all happening online. NARS (a brand with a huge social media following) leveraged the power of social media recently to showcase its first-ever Traveller Exclusive collection with the help of NARS’ parent company Shiseido Travel Retail and Thai travel retailer King Power International.

From a 25sq m pop-up store at the King Power Srivaree Complex in Bangkok, NARS Make-up Specialist Roland Choong led an hour of make-up demonstrations which were live streamed on Weibo by King Power Thailand’s Weibo team. Viewers were able to interact with Roland in real time, ask questions and get advice on expert tips and tricks.

High profile promotions were also held at King Power Downtown Complex and in King Power International’s duty free stores at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport throughout January and February.

Shiseido Travel Retail Vice-President Marketing Elisabeth Jouguelet explained: “NARS’ huge social media following demonstrates how strongly it resonates with the Millennials…As the first make-up brand to be featured on King Power Thailand’s Weibo live stream, NARS continues to build on its reputation for growing its loyal consumer base through social and digital channels.”
