Iris Law becomes latest Burberry Beauty ambassador


When your godmother is Kate Moss and your parents (Sadie Frost and Jude Law) are original members of the ‘90s Britpop scene, of course you are going to be made a ‘face’ of a major brand as soon as you reach sweet sixteen…

The modern fairy-tale of beauty and celebrity have combined to exquisite perfection in the face of Iris Law, named as Burberry Beauty’s new global ambassador and the face of new Liquid Lip Velvet.

In a brand first, Burberry has curated a dedicated Tumblr page to mark the debut of Liquid Lip Velvet. This content hub is designed in the form of a mood board featuring colour and texture stories and exclusive images of Iris Law on the set of the new campaign.

To inspire further, Burberry is also harnessing the aspirational addictiveness of Pinterest to highlight a selection of colour stories featuring the ‘hero colours’ of the Liquid Lip Velvet collection. Lovers of a make-up tutorial will be catered to with tips and tricks on how to make the most of the collection and users can also directly ‘shop the edit’ by linking to

In behind the scenes footage from the campaign shoot, Iris explains her make-up rules: “Keep it casual. Sometimes go all out with the colour of your lip…use make-up as an accessory.” The beautiful girl’s own beauty inspiration? “People who smile and a lot and are kind…that makes them beautiful.”

The campaign was shot in London, home to both Burberry and Iris Law, by Angelo Pennetta and the soundtrack (always a highlight of any Burberry event) is ‘Faded’ by Clare Maguire.

The new Liquid Lip Velvet is a matte cream lip colour that gives a velvet finish. It combines deep pigment with a comforting texture so that although it applies easily and smoothly, the bold colour can last up to eight hours.
