Ditch the neutrals: Bobbi Brown does Cuban colour

Bobbi Brown Havana Brights LR

Havana Brights takes the signature Bobbi Brown ‘pop of colour’ as the inspiration for a whole new collection. For those of us in cold climates it’s a welcome reminder that things are going to hot up (eventually…and meanwhile we can fake a little summer glow), while for those already basking in the rays this collection provides a flattering look for sun-kissed skin.

Inspired by sultry Cuban nights, the products in the collection are formulated to be long-wearing and to move seamlessly from day into night. For fans of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, one of the highlights of the collection will be the redesign of the favourite stalwart Cream Shadow into a handy dual-ended stick. Also worth noting is the Art Stick Liquid Lip, a long-lasting semi-matte lip colour with the feel of a gloss but with the intense colour of a lipstick.

The Havana Brights collection for lips, eyes and cheeks comprises Dual-Ended Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks; Illuminating Cheek Palette; Art Stick and Art Stick Liquid Lip:

Dual-Ended Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks pair two complementary shades of best-selling Cream Shadow for eyes in one handy stick. The claim is that they are sweat-proof, water-resistant and able to last for up to eight hours.

With a lighter colour for highlighting and a darker tone for shading, the easy-to-use sticks can be simply swept across the eyelid and blended with your fingertips.

Illuminating Cheek Palettes contain three powder formulas for one-stop sun-kissed skin. An Illuminating Bronzing Powder reflects light; a Blush adds a pop of colour and a Highlighter delivers glow. The powders can be used for their individual effects, or, sweep a brush across all three and apply to the apples of the cheeks.

Also available is a Mini Face Blender Brush complete with a coral handle which you can use while coordinating perfectly with your new make-up. Instagram moment anyone?

Art Stick, a Bobbi Brown classic, is a chunky pencil lip liner and lipstick in one. It contains shea butter to condition the lips and comes in several skin-flattering tones including Sunset Orange. Use the pencil point to line lips and the flat side to fill in colour.

Art Stick Liquid Lip, an update on the original, boasts a semi-matte finish along with a conditioning formula. Designed to last for eight hours, the colour is squeezed from the stick to be applied like gloss but with full-coverage vibrant colour, including the limited edition Havana Coral. The design makes it super-easy to apply on the go: Simply squeeze the stick gently and apply the colour directly onto lips.

The collection will be available for a limited time only at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics airport outlets in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa from March and in the Americas from April.
