Want to write like Hemingway? Now you can, thanks to Montegrappa

Montegrappa is known for its outstanding writing instruments and its latest range pays tribute to an outstanding writer.

Mightier Than the Sword salutes the life and works of Ernest Hemingway who, undoubtedly, was one of the greatest writers of the 20th century as well as being a Montegrappa pen fan.

So, here’s your chance to write with the same style as a master.

Four chapters of Hemingway’s life – The Soldier, The Writer, The Fisherman and The Traveller – are embodied in this new range of fountain, roller and ballpoint pens.

All the pens are in celluloid with sterling silver trim; some are trimmed with 18k gold. The Writer edition features painstaking details, including an Underwood typewriter and an engraved fountain pen, recalling Hemingway’s life and his early connection with Montegrappa and ties to Bassano. Hemingway spent time in the Italian city as an ambulance driver in World War I, which was the inspiration for his classic novel A Farewell to Arms.

Even the packaging has been designed to echo notebooks used by reporters during the First World War.

Numbers of the Hemingway pens are strictly limited so it’s a case of first come, first served.
