It’s time for Rolex to revel in luxury at Sydney Airport

Not a month goes by without a new luxury brand being added to the fashion precinct at Sydney Airport’s Terminal 1. This time it’s the turn of watch brand Rolex.

Due to open in the second quarter of this year, Rolex is the final brand to join the premium collection of global fashion brands. The others are Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Max Mara, Coach and Oroton – with Gucci to open shortly. With a line-up like the above, it’s enough to make luxury shoppers jump on the next available flight down under.

At 130sq m, a substantial showcase, the stand-alone boutique promises to offer “never-before-seen” interior design (almost worth travelling to Sydney just to see that). Customers can look forward to a “warm and inviting atmosphere” embellished with textural glass, metal and bronze detailing. As for the exterior, you definitely won’t miss the striking double-height, eight-metre façade which is in keeping with the wider 1,900sq m precinct design.

The new Rolex boutique is presented by Swiss Watch Gallery and owned by leading Asian luxury retail specialist Valiram.
